A one off vintage sickle with an unusually long sweeping blade and a beautifully dramatic silhouette.

The narrow crescent blade curves upwards into a pronounced point, with a raised central ridge running almost its entire length. Beneath it, the unusual double metal shank follows the curve of the blade before meeting a wonderfully aged wooden handle.

There is something particularly striking about the shape of this one. The exaggerated crescent and unusual double shank give it an almost medieval appearance, while the narrow sweeping blade makes the entire piece beautifully sculptural when displayed on a wall.

Perfect amongst gothic gallery walls, antique curiosities and darker collections, and certainly not one for the conventional home.
