A one off vintage sickle with an enormous sweeping crescent blade and one of the most dramatic silhouettes of the collection.

The broad blackened blade curves into a long tapered point, sitting above an unusually shaped metal shank that twists gently towards the handle. The heavily worn pale wooden grip is particularly beautiful, with layers of age and dark markings giving it a wonderfully timeworn finish.

There is something unmistakably macabre about the exaggerated crescent shape. Hung amongst frames and curiosities, it has an almost reaper like presence that makes it feel perfectly at home within a darker gallery wall.
