The Severed Spire is inspired by cathedral architecture, vertical tracery and the broken silhouettes of gothic stonework. Developed from the most dominant form within The Lancet Remains, it has been enlarged and refined to stand independently.  

Elongated and sharply defined, the piece carries the tension and upward movement of a cathedral spire. Individually cast and hand finished, subtle variations in surface and tone give it the character of an architectural fragment rather than a simple ornament.
