A one off vintage sickle with a broad sweeping blade and a wonderfully stark silhouette.

The heavy crescent blade curves into a tapered point, with remnants of its original markings still visible across the aged metal. Beneath it, the curved black shank leads into a simple pale wooden handle, creating a striking contrast against the darkened blade.

There is something particularly severe about this one. The wide arc of the blade gives it an unmistakably macabre presence, while the unusual curved construction makes the entire piece beautifully sculptural when displayed on a wall.

Perfect amongst gothic gallery walls, antique curiosities and darker collections, and certainly not one for the conventional home.
